The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway (Rose/open)

Oliver loved the Black Lake. And what he loved more than the black lake - the creatures inside it. He reached his hand inside the lake and pulled out his father's toad, that he had found the other day. Wouldn't his dad be so proud of him? "Okay, Trevor. You're safe." he said while drying the toad off and watching it become comfortable since he looked like a handsome version of his father. He also had that Longbottom scent, which Trevor was somewhat attracted to. "You're my dad's toad, aren't you?" he asked the toad. The toad nodded slightly. Oliver smiled and thought how much his dad might have missed that toad.

Rose did walk towards the Black Lake. It was good place to hang out with friends and also alone. She soon did reach there and saw a boy there. She was sure that she have seen her before around but she couldn't tell his name. She walked to him and saw him talking with toad. "Hey," she said to her then with smile.

Oliver heard a female voice, and he wasn't sure who it was. It certainly wasn't Carly - it was too high-pitched for that. Looking over his shoulder, he saw a short, pretty, red-headed girl. "Greetings." he said with a cheery tone, as he continued to pet the toad.The Badger had seen the girl in classes before, but he wasn't sure what her name was. Maybe she was a Weasley, who's dad and mom probably knew his dad as a child.

Rose sat down on the grass now and looked at the lake. "I'm Rose Weasley," she then decided to introduce herself just in the case. "Your's name?" she asked then and looked back at boy for some seconds. She tried to understood what was boys name right now, she wasn't sure at all what it could be right now.

Oliver sat on the grass, staring at the sunset. "I'm Oliver. Oliver Longbottom." He smiled at the girl, who was a Weasley. He loved watching the sunset. It was beautiful, in his opinion.

Rose noddded quietly. "It's nice to meet you, Oliver," she said with smile to him. She looked at that sunset too now, it was in her mind beautiful too of course.

"Nice to meet you too, Rose." Oliver said with one of his signature smiles. He continued to watch the sunset. The sunset reminded him of his mother, they used to watch the sunset all the time.

Rose looked at the sunset too still. "What house and year you are?" she asked with smile for Oliver then. She wasn't sure what else to say now. She didn't want to have awkward silent.

"I'm a Hufflepuff first year. How about you?" Oliver smiled at Rose, as he thought about Hogwarts and how it was so wonderful.

"I'm gryffindor and first year like you," she aaid then back with smile. She liked her in school and she had heard many stories about this school from her parents. It was really nice to be her now too.
